In the 3D portion of Digital Media 12, students will focus on how to create 3D projects. As well as learning on how to import, adjust, edit, preview and output 3D media, students will also work within an industry-standard professional environment. In addition to learning the basics of selection of channel specificity, the Sony Vegas editor will allow monitoring in 3D when performing 3D edits. This course will teach students on how to create 3D motion effects with precise control over Z-depth, plane intersection, compositing, and more. Within this Digital Media courses students will be able to create web pages for websites that encompasses 3D motion in real time by using multiple tracks to move and rotate in 3D space. The project on the right is done by Brandon Chan and Derek Stepan.

In the 2D portion of Digital Media 11, students will explore on how to create projects using Sony Vegas video editor. As well as learning on how to import, adjust, edit, preview and output 2D media. The Video Preview window provides a comprehensive selection of viewing options including the basic channel specific, top/bottom, side by sides. In the Web Development portion of this course students will mainly focus on scripting for the web, learning Javascript and drupal. Drupal is the essence and engine of our school website www.nwss.ca
