COMPUTER PROGRAMMING 12 (PROGRAM FOCUS) Course #523

The focus for this course is the Java programming language. There are two levels to this course, Level I is the introductory to the various syntaxes and coding rule of the Java language using Eclipse. Level II is the advanced portion of this course where students will write and create game programs using the language. As in course #423, Eclipse is the compiler of choice for many post secondary institutions including the University of Waterloo in Ontario. Eclipse is a multi-language software development environment comprising an integrated development environment and an extensible plug-in system. It is written mostly in Java and can be used to develop applications in Java and, by means of various plug-ins, other programming languages including C and C++.

COMPUTER PROGRAMMING 11 (PROGRAM FOCUS) Course #423
This course is the foundation for students interested in entering computer science courses at any post secondary institutions. As well, students interested in pursuing a career in math, engineering, physics and computers would be encouraged to apply for this course as well as Course # 523.
You will be learning to write codes for all sorts of applications. There are 2 languages offered in this course C and C++. This course is divided into various sections, you will be given an option to go into which ever code you prefer and move on to more advanced applications of each kind of language.
